Wow, California!
California and Texas are the overachievers in the sealed indictment race (by population).
New York and especially Florida are underachievers.
That was my reaction, too.
This leads me to believe that many of the indictments will be for child sex trafficking.
Maybe also for media RICO violations or something similar with media/tech.
Next highest appear to be Texas, Pennsylvania, NY.
NY is no surprise - it’s highly populated like CA, but TX and PA seem disproportionately large.
If 1000 per year is normal, that translates to an average of 20 per state if they were evenly spread out. And you would expect that for small states, the number would be fewer than 20. Yet the only one I see with fewer than 20 is Wyoming. Vermont has the next smallest total that I’m able to read with 40.
Can’t read Michigan, but it might be a big number. Detroit!
Iowa is surprisingly large. What’s going on there? Election fraud during Iowa caucus? Corruption in the corn industry?
And New Mexico and Arizona. State distribution footprint makes me question if this has more to do with a crack down on illegal drugs and aliens than potential direct DS accountability.
