Quite right, we've all read and written volumes on this. Rush, another beneficiary of Cruz super-PAC money, was also very sketchy during this time. Mr. I-Don't-Publicly-Endorse-Candidates was a regular gusher on how Cruz was the next Ronald Reagan, don't worry about his soft moderate views on the economy and taxes and outright amnesty views on illegal immigration. Cruz knows what's best for us, trust me!!

As for e-s, that's just how he rolls. He just became my new best buddy here at FR. He'll tell you that you're completely wrong, missed everything, don't even know your own name, and then scoot away when you try to talk to him about it, the little scamp! But he'll come back around and chuck a random insult your way, that's just the little prize that he is. He's been a little ray of sunshine since 1998. He's got life all figured out and everybody else is just an idiot in his world. Can you imagine how much fun he'd be at parties?

Little Marco best be careful or millions of Trump supporters will be pulling a Romney and “voting for my wife” the next time he is on the ballot.

Little Marco dreams of a progressive corportist GOP. He hates unwashed Main Street conservatives who will not stay on the porch of his GOPe plantation.

Levin did not support Trump after the primary, he trashed Trump right up until election day.

Not only did he trash Trump he viciously smeared Trump supporters. US. No other “conservative” radio personality put it in those personal terms night after night. I will not be putting those insults by Levin down the memory hole!

"Trump is human..."

Is that what was being discussed? That's a segue that would rip the chrome off a trailer hitch. Levin is the subject, try to follow the conversation. You might wanna offer a small window into your reasoning on that. That's kinda why we're all here. It's fun to tell people they're stupid and then run but how long can you keep that up? Whoops, you're going on 20 years and running strong.

Absolutely. Levin has a weird duality with me right now. I like what he’s saying about conservatism and the Constitution right now but he spent a good year or more on suspension from my radio and he’ll be on probation for years now that I’ve started listening to him again on my half-hour commute home. He’s good when he doesn’t have his tachometer and thermometer in the red over his candidate that didn’t advance in the primary. Come next election, I’ll be watching him close. If he pulls the same garbage again, his voice will immediately warrant a channel change for good, even if it’s a commercial for Altoids.

Agreed. It is amusing to see the Levin fan club “pom pom wavers” (his insult for Trump supporters) wanting to air brush his history. I won’t ever be buying what they are selling because he has never owned up to what he did.

Levin is just completely honest and it offends your childish unrealistic worship of Trump at times. Trump is human just like you and me. He does make mistakes, don’t you?

You're jumping around and changing the subject. Try to focus.

This isn't about whether Mark is Mr Brutally Honest. I said that he was a malignant NeverTrumper all through the primary, the convention, the general, the inauguration, and beyond, which is an absolute fact.

Sure, he said on air after Trump won the primary, that he'd grit his teeth and vote for him, but he went right on attacking Trump night, after night, after night - well after Trump was in the White House.

Your response to that was, "You're full of it!"

So tell me, am I wrong? Did Mark do those things, or did he not?

Yes, that is very true that Levin not only bashed on Trump voters, he was ugly and personal about it. Wanna see an ugly glance at his personality? Check out the audio of him right after it became public that his stepson was working in Cruz's campaign: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WL_DBWBUl38.

He's all saying "So what?" but it's obvious that he's so PO'd that he can't even see straight. This attempt at damage-control is downright cringe-worthy. His given reason for this segment is that people are trying to intimidate him and silence him. That is complete crap, it's just a way to change the subject from his clear conflict-of-interest with Cruz to "I'm getting screwed, people are after me, they're trying to bully me, they're trying to silence me". Too bad he didn't have this kind of fire against Hillary, everything is Cruz-Cruz-Cruz and "I'm getting persecuted".

Rush was so transparently in the tank for Cruz during the '16 primary, it was embarrassing. He was also pointedly rude to callers who supported Trump - interrupting them, laughing under his breath at them, cutting them off, making funny noises as they spoke, etc.

Meanwhile, Cruz callers were treated with real respect and camaraderie.

It was shameful.

Yep. As bad as Levin was about this, it’s more understandable because he’s not a tycoon, had family working for Cruz, and he was getting Cruz super-PAC money. I’m not saying it’s OK by any means, it’s just more understandable how he could get sucked into this. Rush is the one that really bothers me. He needed the prestige or money? He has such supremacy in radio that every ratings race is a race for the #2 spot. He’s over halfway to being a billionaire. It’s disappointing to say the least that he didn’t turn the money down and say, “No thanks, guys, I feel like I’m crossing an ethical boundary here.” (And very possibly a legal one, although nobody has been prosecuted for Payola in decades, it’s just something to laugh at on WKRP and Happy Days nowadays.)

https://realitycheck753.wordpress.com/2016/04/13/cruz-pacs-paid-talk-radio-insider-8-million-dollars-was-money-illegally-used-to-buy-talk-host-endorsements/

This made the rounds on FR but of course it got no play in the MSM. They’re not going to blow the whistle on something that screws Trump. What’s funny is that it didn’t work and he became president anyway! The more the media attacks us and Trump, the more it steels our resolve to re-elect him. In 2020, there probably will be riots on the steps of the Capitol.

As nuts as they are now, I can't imagine how crazy the libs will be during the 2020 election cycle. Heck, I don't even know if we can get through the midterms without violence and bloodshed.

Libs are up against a wall with nowhere else to go.

Mark Levin is being more diplomatic than I am. Rubio is praising garbage behavior from people who have no right to complain about their country giving them a bad rap. The reason NFL players protest the cops is that they’re a bunch of criminals that think it’s a real travesty for them to be caught and prosecuted for the crap that they do.

You’re not acting bizarre, Marco. You’re a straight up jerk that shouldn’t hold public office.

Aye, aye, aye. Where do I even begin?

Calling me "mentally ill" is just constructive criticism, huh? I think your replies above tell the real tale, and it's a scary one.

Friend, this has become a complete waste of time. I've tried to get you to focus on the conversation at hand, but you seem to be too impaired (in some way) to engage me on the topic.

I can only conclude that you're posting under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Good night.

Well well, Mr. Hit-n-Run Poster is back in town. I knew the king troll couldn’t stay away long. I was waiting for you. What did you do, go over to the Freeper Canteen and hurl insults over there?

Really, I don’t discuss anything? I’m still waiting for you to tell me in 50 words or less how govt. security clearances are obtained and renewed since I “clearly know nothing about it” despite having had one and renewing it for 25 years. I won’t hold my breath for that spark of insight.

Since we’re all delusional or outright lying, point me to any sound clip of Mark Levin “strongly supporting” Donald Trump between May 3rd, 2016 and Inauguration Day. You’ve dropped the accusation several times that we’re all lying or crazy, so the burden of proof is on you. I eagerly await your next insult, it’s all you’ve got.

That’s where I’m at too, e-s, and said so on the last thread (Elon Musk in danger of losing security clearance). You come off like the town drunk, seriously. I’m willing to entertain an accusation of just completely losing the point or just totally missing a large concept. But if you’re going to drop that accusation, you really need to tell the person WHY that’s your view. I’m here to learn. Unfortunately, your only purpose in life is to trash people with no explanation or clear rationale. If you think that your posts above are “constructive criticism”, get help.

I don’t understand why you feel like you have to treat everybody like total crap all the time. Sounds like a power thing to me. I don’t know if it’s your wife or your boss or debt collectors but you must feel pretty damn oppressed to have to come here and just rip into EVERYBODY. Being a problem-child is no way to go through life. I’ve looked at your history, EVERYTHING you post is like that. You act like you’re ready to go to work, set the place on fire, and not care if anybody gets out. I’ve seen co-workers with borderline personality disorder and you’re easily worse than any of them. For the sake of anybody that has to live or deal with you, I hope you’re giving them more of a fair shake. Free Republic sure isn’t working for you.

>> “Calling me “mentally ill” is just constructive criticism, huh?” <<

I see now that this is a total lack of attention span, and reading comprehension.

The “constructive criticism” was what Levin was constantly offering, that you falsely dismissed as an attack.

Mark Levin is one of the most intelligent and knowledgable people on the scene.

He never attacked Trump, but he constantly offered valuable criticism that should have been heeded.

It is obvious that Trump understands that, but a few donkeys here will never figure it out.
