Finite Mathematics is a prerequisite for many following courses like Calculus. How are these idiots going to solve a quadratic equation with Hillary’s “Strong Character” ???

The finances for great cattle futures and how to calculate profits from uranium sales won’t be part of the course.

Finite Mathematics may technically be listed that way in the catalog, but the truth is that no major with a calculus requirement honors it for credit.

In other words: it's a dodge created so liberal arts and humanities students can actually pass one of two "math" courses required by the PA Legislature for General Education.

For students in the colleges of Science, Engineering, and Business it's considered remedial high school level work on a non-academic high school track. (< Algebra I)
