Doesn’t look like he will get it today, he is tied for 6th and done for the day. But at 17 under, he is playing very well. It seems like what has happened is there are a lot more really good golfers that he has to contend with than when he was so dominant. His -17 would have won 90 percent of the time 10 years ago.

He will get a win soon, but the wins will be occasional now instead of common.

Likely, given his age. But, only John Daly won a major and coasted the rest of his (on-going) PGA career.

Tiger has a higher estimation of himself than JD. Tiger continues to hang around the top 10 in the “satellite” tournaments (AKA: Non-GrandSlam), slowly working on his game. He will win another major but Jack is safe for now. He mirrors the same desire for excellence that Nicklaus had.

Another generational anomaly will show up and possibly challenge Jack’s record but not in my lifetime. The crowd we see playing now are just that...the crowd.
