Kavanaugh didn’t use that term because he misunderstands the basic science of birth control—the fact that birth control prevents fertilization of eggs in the first place. He used that term because it’s a dog whistle to the extreme right.
She is wrong. (I used to think that, too, when I was very young and not paying attention. Anyone as involved in the abortion debate as Hitlery is should know better.) Most birth control prevents the implantation of the fertilized egg. FERTILIZED EGG. It does not prevent fertilization. This includes the pill and IUDs.
AFAIK, condoms are one of the few methods that prevent fertilization. Or abstinence! Everyone has access to abstinence and it’s free.
Pretty soon this witch is going to be sitting in a corner, sucking her thumb.
A vasectomy also prevents egg fertilization. Snip, snip....
Condoms, abstinence, and vasectomy. Puts men in control of their future.
