As! You beat me to it! They would probably have preferred that the pictured villagers be stomped to death. “Save the Whales!” “Crabs have the same right to live as humans!” “Abortion on demand!”
The KILL site is to be renamed the DNC pit. Note they have not found any body bags, yet.
About the size of a restroom in a Tyson chicken slaughtering building.
Thanks ETL.

We just have a 50’ x 175’ lot, with our small house on it, but I would love to dig a pit in the back yard, just to see if there’s anything there. My husband nixed the idea, though. We live in Indian country, and he’s an Indian, and they don’t think too kindly of digging around looking for artifacts -— might accidentally upset a burial plot.
Sigh... AW, NOT As.

That picture is pretty silly. There are 3 people involved in killing the mammoth. The rest are carrying on like nothing is happening. Look at the little kid roasting something on a stick.
Why is it “gruesome”? That is just silly.
No sh*t. The drama of these triggered lib jornolists. Back when our ancestors did what they had to do to survive and if that means making a kill site the area of a football field, so be it.
What’s so gruesome about killing an animal to eat and have clothing. And probably tools too.
The grocery store is a gruesome site where slaughtered animals are sold for food. /s
Also, using a bow, but no atlatls?
***dated to between 18,000 and 28,000 years ago.***
Ten thousand years leeway. Lot could happen in that time.
Germans!!!
Yes, I noticed that. I guess the illustration was meant to depict a general view of the period, as opposed to an actual event.
Are you looking for a Mexica/Maya/Olmec period local mammoth?
The only problem is that You would lose it all to a .gov entity as being a Historical Site.
And You would get nothing.
Well maybe a fine for having a house on the land.
