Will Florida State do something for him at some point this season?
Jackie Gleason was a very underrated actor.
:) You’re welcome.
One was just after his nude centerfold hit the newsstands. He gave Carson a doctored version, with Carson's head, and a catcher's mitt down below.
The other was after he had bought George Harrison's house. Harrison had the pool painted black, the ceilings painted black, and drew pictures, signed, on the kitchen walls. Reynolds said he did blue, white, and painted over the signed artwork in the kitchen.
I would think so.
I recall reading in his book “My Life” (written in about the mid 1990s), he talked about how wonderful it was when he moved in with her at her place in Beverly Hills (believe her house was near the famous hotel). The meals she prepared were absolutely wonderful, whether it was something fancy or just regular Southern fare he liked. And the parties they went to where a lot of the older Hollywood generation were at was so much an experience as well (ones like George Burns, Groucho Marx, Frank Sinatra, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Cary Grant, and others like that).
That and Riverboat would be a couple of titles I’d like to see on YouTube or the nostalgia channels. Too much of MASH or Three’s Company or others that are repeated endlessly.
So you’re saying he could have been another Warrick Dunn if his film career hadn’t taken off.
Cosmo or Playgirl?
Cannonball Run is based upon a real event.
Dan Guerny won it one year. Co-Driver was Brock Yates.
Christopher Lawford, Peter Lawford’s son and JFK’s nephew, also died yesterday. He was a recovering alcoholic and an actor in the soaps.
Best Little Whorehouse In Texas with Dolly Parton.
RIP.
*great* Now I feel old.
Dom Deluise once said of Burt Reynolds Playgirl centerfold on the Tonight Show.
“I didn’t know he was left handed”
BWAHAHAHA, too funny!
I didn’t realize until today that he was in a Twilight Zone episode.
RIP to one of the last of the REAL movie stars.
Yikes, almost everyone in that top pic is dead. Dean Martin, DeLuise, B.R., Burt Convy & Farrah Fawcett. :-(
