The site https://www.reportforthepresident.org/team feels legit. (Unspecified vibe based on layout and some contents).
For example, the section on team members has a lot of placeholders: a scam artist would put up an incomplete site then beg for funds to “finish this very important work”.
This site does ask for money, at the bottom of a completely different page. $7.00 for a membership and then $1.00 / month. And I couldn’t even see where they asked for Visa or Mastercard or Paypal or Carrier Pigeon with a little change purse around its neck, being chased by Dick Dastardly...
