I've never bought or owned a single Nike product, so I guess my personal boycott would be meaningless. I've gotta wonder, however, what corporate birdbrains thought this Kaepernick honorarium was a smart marketing move.

I mean, with all the controversy that guy started with the NFL, you'd think they would have considered him to be radioactive. Could they really be so uninformed, that they were clueless about the sort of reaction this would cause?

Or, are they so committed to left-liberal idealism that they're willing to destroy their company to be 'down with the struggle'?

Someone in NIKE decided the whole company should take a knee to America because we are a racist country where cops kill Black people

Since no one on their knees has offered any tangible solution I suppose their attitude is permanent

I call this lose-lose marketing
Will make an interesting case study in business schools
Meanwhile I'm glad I'm not a stockholder!
