My impressions from the NoName funeral:
Cindy McCain’s dress is oddly low-cut.
His daughter’s eulogy was too florid and emotional...undignified.
Kissinger spoke warmly of globalism.
The military choir sang Amazing Grace but to a very odd melody.
Ryan sits with the Dems and won’t put on reading glasses!
I thought I saw, when someone remarked that his legacy will live on, that the camera cot to a man in the audience who seemed to mouth, “ No, it won’t.” Not sure though, went by so fast.
GWBushleague spoke lovingly about great times in the past and disparagingly about tyrants and bigots and seemed to be dissing Trump. The Bushes REALLY hate Trump.
Obummer spoke about his love for all people and willingness to work with Dems.
I couldn’t bear to watch too closely, but his wife and two military sons were pretty emotionless through it all.
His youngest son read Requiem pretty tonelessly.
Overall impression: Deep State feeling sad and nostalgic for the good old days when they could run wild.
Really too bad that we can’t bury the rest of the Deep State with him...

Weeping and wailing at a funeral just isn’t our “style”.

I met him at the Pentagon about 20 years ago. He didn't seem like a 14 caret jerk, but then politicians are good at glad handing.
