The thing is it is such a pile on offense that even if Mueller doesn't prevail on every charge or point in the end he wins. In the first trial: 10 charger ended up as hung. But that still leaves 8 that he will go to jail on.

And then add that Mueller has this entire second case (call it the backup case). So, even if he loses every over-charge in this case, he's still got Manafort on the Virginia case concluded a few weeks ago.

Sucks to be Manafort, and while at first I was not very sympathetic to him at this point I think a Presidential Pardon would be OK.

I need to know more about Manafort things to know how much he was setup vs. slimy; but he’s certainly positioned for a pardon & prosecution tainted by F-I/D-J + SC corruption.
