Do you know how many millions of American chicks were wearing GV jeans in the 80s? I wonder what the hell the symbology behind Brooks Bros. is?
Q
Sheep in a sling? Or is that a gift-wrapped sheep?
“I wonder what the hell the symbology behind Brooks Bros. is?”
Brooks Brothers (BB) began selling shirts in 1818 - 200 years ago.
They were always considered good businessmen and kind.
One great thing about BB is nearly all of their clothing is made in the USA (sure they source silk, wool and other specialized materials from other countries...).
Their symbol is the Golden Fleece (Jason and the Argonauts):

I have been wearing BB clothing for decades because they are:
Natural materials (100% cotton in my boxers and shirts, etc.)
Made in the US of A by American workers.
Let’s not get a 200 year old shirt company mixed up with a new GV clothing empire.
Best to you, FRiend.
Gloria Vanderbilt jeans are still sold. I have some.
