Senator McCain’s term is up in 2022. He was just re-elected.
On Fox, they were talking to Grant Woods, one of his former aides, who held office in Arizona. He said that the person who is appointed will serve until 2020, at which time there will be a special election for the final two years of the term.
Woods was also saying that it looks like the Democrat (Kirsten Synema) has a decent chance to win. If that’s true, it might be a good idea to wait until Wednesday and appoint the second-place finisher in the primary. That might be the best way to get the McSally camp and the Ward camp together so that Synema can be beaten.
should wait till after the funeral.
Sinema is a communist sympathizer (see her info at www.keywiki.org, search under her name).
However, she is smart, dedicated, a good organizer and very attractive, even for a leftist so there might just be enough reds and dupes to get her a win in November.
Time to get this right, right now. Pick the best Republican candidate and support them.
Sheriff Joe. I love you but drop and tell your supporters to vote for the best qualified conservative GOP candidate left.
That would be your greatest victory over the Arizona Left, helping to keep the Senate seat safe for America.
