Great specs.
Can it survive one competitive 16 mile lap at Nürburgring?
Exactly! I'd love to buy a few awesome resto-mods at Mecum or B-J. But I have no use for anything that's precious, anything that's so valuable you're afraid to drive it.
Watch it later.
Thanks.
0-Dead in 2 seconds!
Bugatti and the ring are long acquainted. So, yes it can.
“ But I have no use for anything that’s precious, anything that’s so valuable you’re afraid to drive it. ”
Like you could actually pay for it?
Not with me behind the wheel! It’d be a big smoldering pile of rubble somewhere down by the first turn, lol.
Thanks, but no thanks.
Lol, well, we’re assuming I just won the lottery. That’s what’s nice about some of the auctions; you don’t have to win the lottery first to buy a really sweet daily driver that would actually make a person happier than this Bugatti ever would.
I’d like a Cougar Eliminator.
If 6’3 me could even get in the driver’s seat, that would be something.
“that would actually make a person happier than this Bugatti ever would.”
Right off-hand I can’t think of any ...
Cool car, but not for me. The travel trailer would not do well at 200 mph...
We are going next summer. You have to be 18 to drive and my son doesn't turn 18 until next June. I just want to go to the Hertz counter at the airport in Frankfort, rent a Golf (or similar) and go drive it like I stole it. It's only 30 Euros (or less if you buy in bulk) for a lap.
For that money, it had better drive itself, pay its own traffic tickets, self-repair like Christine, fly, have A 200-year warranty, pump its own gas, make a really good cup of coffee...
Etc...
I blew the engine in my wife's '91 MR2 a couple of years ago. I couldn't find anyone locally who was willing to replace the engine. My skills have increased in recent years and I believe I am now up to the challenge to do it myself. I just bought the rear half of a Japanese MR2 turbo from the late '90's. If I succeed in getting my new drivetrain installed and working in the old car without involving professionals, the car will be more precious to me than anything made by Bugatti.
Boyd Coddington, Chip Foose, Kindig, Noah Alexander... None of their cars could push your happiness meter close to where it’d be if you owned a Divo?
No fair saying you could sell the Divo and buy 30 Chip Foose cars!
Hehe, doesn’t Bugatti make a trailer for that thing?
Saw a mini-documentary on Bugatti production. The leather trim for the interior comes from a herd of cattle specially maintained in the Alps with no barbed wire fences and at an altitude above where mosquitos are found to keep the leather as blemish free and uniform as possible. Total attention to detail from start to finish!
Sounds like a bad idea.
It comes with a lawyer and a preacher.
Who wants a car that’s electrically governed to 236 MPH anyway? If I’m gonna burn off the tires, before I can run out of gas, I’ll do it at the speed I choose.
