Two key Republican senators signaled to President Donald Trump that he could replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions after the midterm elections in November, a move that would open the way for firing Robert Mueller or constraining his probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
The presidents entitled to an attorney general he has faith in, somebody thats qualified for the job, and I think there will come a time, sooner rather than later, where it will be time to have a new face and a fresh voice at the Department of Justice, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who may be in line to head the Judiciary Committee next year, told reporters Thursday. Clearly, Attorney General Sessions doesnt have the confidence of the president. ... That represents a significant shift from Grahams stance a year ago, when he warned Trump publicly that if he fired Sessions there will be holy hell to pay.
Senator Chuck Grassley, the current Judiciary chairman, also changed his position on Thursday, saying in an interview that hed be able to make time for hearings for a new attorney general after saying in the past that the panel was too busy to tackle that explosive possibility.
Asked about a possible replacement for Sessions, Grassley took a different position from a year ago, when he warned the White House he didnt have time to do another confirmation hearing that year. ... I do have time for hearings on nominees that the president might send up here that I didnt have last year, Grassley of Iowa said Thursday.

Yes, Sessions has been a disgrace!
Well said! Trusting in "Q" is like waiting for the return of the 12th Mahdi.
Q has been outed as a hoax awhile now. It’s all over the place, and on youtube. One of the original team that started it got booted and revealed the hoax.
I have a forwarded email (through fr) from one of the original guys that had enough and outed them, as well. I’m tempted to post it as a vanity, but some of the language is not, uh, for primetime. Not sure what to do with it. I quoted part of it once, and the Qooks here went bonkers lol. I mean, more bonkers, that is.
I have a sneaking suspicion one of the mods is on the qook train, so there is that to consider...
But it is definitely a hoax, took on a life of its own, some originals tried to monitize, infighting, people got kicked out, more brought in...mostly patriots, fair enough, but definitely NOT military (or other) intelligence affiliated. Just chan people, and a couple of half assed hackers.
They got lucky early on when twitter was putting 20min delays on some tweets, including Trump’s. But if you knew a certain IP address of one of their servers, you could read his tweets in realtime. That delay let them “predict” a few tweets; hence the early magic of Q. Twitter fixed the issue, but “Follow the Shoe” lives on. (Monty Python reference)
Post it!
The language no matter how bad we all have heard or seen before.
Let the FR readers judge Q!
I do t want Rosenstein as acting A.G. for even one minute. Is there a way to remove Rosenstein before Sessions is sacked?
Either of them would be the best choice ever. I dont know if theyd get confirmation though, cause they are totally pro Trump and have called Mueller a dirty cop over and over again(which he is).
More BS from the peanut gallery. Just months ago they warned Trump not to fire Jeff.
Senators are go along, get along bunch.
It’s what they do.
What was needed was a bold, fearless AG.
So yes, NO to any more Senators.
GO Sessions! Kick Deep State A$$ /S
Can you PM that video? I haven’t seen it. I suspect the hoax nature of it as well...but I would love to see it.
Yes, I’ll look it up when back at homebase and post a link.
Oh yeah he will, and all the Sessions sycophants on Free Republic are gonna be laughed off the forum when he goes.
Not a chance. They'll still be claiming that it's part of The Plan.
Well...
