The timing is very curious. For Trump & co, I don’t think anything ‘new’ came out of this deal today. The offer is months old.
Coincided with Manafort verdict.

I responded to a UT political science prof this morning who is unceasingly democrat but tries to sound fair and cheerful and oh so wise. He does a good job of acting innocent but not good enough. Anyway, his friend who is my nephew posted a meme about Soros funding Beto Pancho O’Rourke for senate. This prof jumps in to ask why that is relevant and when challenged he claimed Soros is nothing but a wealthy successful capitalist. Ha! I have heard that line from another friend who defended Soros and as the prof acted innocent as to who and what he has done.
There must be a seminar they attend teaching how to respond. I let go the first time I heard the comment but today challenged him and he posted a couple of links pro-Soros and in the process admitted he does know Soros. I suspect fully in agreement with anti-American policies too. Anyone else encountered “Soros is only a wealthy capitalist?
