'I don’t go that far... I doubt the man honestly thought how cruel this death would be. Probably thought, I need to kill it what do I have? Ah gasoline that will work and it it dies quickly. I really don’t think the guy was trying to be cruel, just ignorant of the realities.'

Ridiculous!!. Any human being with at least a few brain cells working had to know that pouring gasoline over an animal and setting it on fire resulted in unbelievable pain to the animal.

The racoon was only doing what racoons do. There was no need for such unspeakable cruelty when all he had to do was call animal control, or trap the animal and release him far away from his residence. (easy thing to do. We have done this many times)
