-- so I'm going to apologize in advance for the following snark: So? Isn't that enemy's job? That is, to defeat, overthrow, capture & enslave a vanquished adversary? --

LOL. Not snarky at all.

There is a thin line between politics and sedition. IMO, the left crossed it a generation ago. I think our institutions are utterly corrupt compared with the mandates of the constitution and a rough approximation of intellectual honesty.

American citizens are not so much the enemy as the sheep. We are to obey, submit, and respect.

-- Our task at this point is to defeat the enemy and restore the republic. It's all pretty simple, and one that we must Trump is willing to engage. --

I have no doubt Trump is on the right track. I don't see the task as easy though. US is radical form of government, first (and only) time in history that the people were elevated above their government. That principle is only good for a moral people (arguably we are losing that foundation), and human nature will have the strong taking advantage of the weak, which translates into the extra-constitutional power structures we have in force today.

Anyway, in the end, it's a numbers and force game. People have to be willing to resort to brute force, implements of death and destruction, in order to retain their freedom. Too few of those people, and the government will ALWAYS take advantage up to a point just short of popular revolution. The King didn't push it half as far as the US Federal government is pushing it.

Outstanding observation. Bears repeating.

People have to be willing to resort to brute force, implements of death and destruction, in order to retain their freedom.

Every generation is advised to remain vigilant to safeguard their liberty, but of course human nature dictates that people always take the easy path.

So, the predators lie in wait - TJ's preamble doesn't read as civic justification, but rather as a guideline that confirms an aggressors' initial position of strength. That is, until the targeted victim society wakes up from their periodic collective lethargy, recognizes the imminent peril they face, and reacts to defeat the enemy threat.

Personally, as a devout atheist, I reject the notion of evil. People are born a certain way, and those who inherited psychopathic tendencies are merely acting on their genetic programming. There's a reason the entire cabal of conspirators are so ugly - they were dealt a bad hand, and have hated normal, happy, well adjusted people since childhood. Not one of this sorry cast of characters fits within any modicum of parameters that describe our average fellow citizen.

That being said, freaks are gonna freak. I may feel sort of sorry for them, and understand their rationale & motives, but it doesn't lessen my resolve to eliminate them. A rattlesnake didn't choose to be dangerous, but unfortunately for it, my safety comes first. So too in the case of the coup; it's too bad they got screwed over in life's lottery, but they still have to go.
