And this isn't just waste, it is literally an attempt to overthrow the will of the people with deception.

You're a great poster, so I'm going to apologize in advance for the following snark: So? Isn't that enemy's job? That is, to defeat, overthrow, capture & enslave a vanquished adversary? If that's the case, then why react in amazement?

I know plenty of people are still working through the 5 stages, but IMO we can't reach a collective state of acceptance soon enough. I don't recall reading/seeing any references to wonderment and/or amazement that the Nazis & Japanese were *actually* fighting us. Rather, it merely presented a case of national resolve - job to do, job completed.

Those who planned & executed coup were/are engaged in an act of war. Once you settle on that conclusion, rather than being surprised, all subsequent actions make perfect sense. American citizens were the enemy, and were attacked according to the basic principles of war. The fact that the aggressors were also citizens only provides a slight twist, but nothing mankind hasn't seen countless times over the vast stretch of history.

Our task at this point is to defeat the enemy and restore the republic. It's all pretty simple, and one that we must Trump is willing to engage.

LOL. Not snarky at all.

There is a thin line between politics and sedition. IMO, the left crossed it a generation ago. I think our institutions are utterly corrupt compared with the mandates of the constitution and a rough approximation of intellectual honesty.

American citizens are not so much the enemy as the sheep. We are to obey, submit, and respect.

I have no doubt Trump is on the right track. I don't see the task as easy though. US is radical form of government, first (and only) time in history that the people were elevated above their government. That principle is only good for a moral people (arguably we are losing that foundation), and human nature will have the strong taking advantage of the weak, which translates into the extra-constitutional power structures we have in force today.

Anyway, in the end, it's a numbers and force game. People have to be willing to resort to brute force, implements of death and destruction, in order to retain their freedom. Too few of those people, and the government will ALWAYS take advantage up to a point just short of popular revolution. The King didn't push it half as far as the US Federal government is pushing it.
