If 40 people in my city were shot in a weekend, life would grind to a halt.
Every weekend? We would have the city police and county sheriffs, along with police helicopters out in force.
Maybe the herd is starting to get culled.
And here in my neighborhood, we have no police and no crime.

What we have is a subculture that has little to no concern for their fellow man. They are not good citizens. They live a predatory lifestyle and look upon the decent, law-abiding citizens that make up the majority of our population as prey to be attacked and exploited.

C’mon. Even thugs can take a summer vacation.
My theory is the good shots die young. The better shots being thinned out would make a significant decline in the number of people being wounded each weekend.

Violence in Chicago over the weekend was about normal for summer — at least 37 people shot — and for that city officials were relieved.
