FULL TITLE: White House explodes at Omarosa's 'lack of character and integrity' by threatening national security and smuggling her smartphone into secure Situation Room to record her own firing
Nine hours after former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman shocked the political world with an audiotape of her own firing made in the ultra-secure Situation Room, the Trump administration fired back at the former reality TV star.
'The very idea a staff member would sneak a recording device into the White House Situation Room, shows a blatant disregard for our national security – and then to brag about it on national television further proves the lack of character and integrity of this disgruntled former White House employee,' Trump's press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a dinnertime statement.
Manigault Newman gave the audio to NBC News, which broadcast it during its 'Meet the Press' interview with the explosive onetime Trump booster. It includes a voice identified as White House Chief of Staff John Kelly telling her that 'serious integrity violations' had left her without a job.
Kelly tells her in the audio that the issues surrounded money and the improper use of government vehicles. He can be heard denying a request for her to speak with president about her dismissal, which he said was non-negotiable.

How about this -- she constantly recorded audio and video on her phone, which should not have been present during her alleged work day. Perp-walk her ass, to arraignment, trial, and prison where she belongs. Thanks Morgana.

You do realize we are all watching a 24/7 8 year long reality tv show right? Omarosa wasn’t going to last, she never lasted in any of the apprentices she has ever been on. She certainly wasn’t going to last in the Whitehouse. Donald Trump created her, and he certainly allowed herself to implode like that.

Maybe so. I’m sure people like Rudy G. and Melania know exactly how The Donald feels about Omarosa. Lucky for Mr. Trump, neither of those people are likely to betray his confidence. General Kelly was very helpful in this situation.
He does not mind looking somebody straight in the eye and telling them “You’re done here.” The President can do the same thing to large groups of people through his policies.
It is clear that Ponderosa was let go because she broke the law and Kelly was going easy on her by just firing her. I hope she goes to jail.
Can’t believe she thinks any of this makes her look good. If anything it’s a reason to distrust her stories even more.

Hiring her gave quite a few FReepers a “say what?” reaction. It makes me question President Trump’s character judging skills. Well, some of his other hires have also done that.
I have no idea how this woman ever got a job in the White House. For all of the many good things Trump has done since taking office, he has also made some very questionable hiring decisions.
