No Name was not thanked by DJT for the NDAA bill, which this bill is a part of/update to, which had been named after the Senator..... No Name is “fighting for his life back home in Arizona after being diagnosed with cancer last year...”
I had forgotten that No Name’s name was put on that bill originally.
Just checked the whitehouse.gov website. The name of the bill is the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2019. It authorizes $716 billion for national defense, including $500 million for for the co-development and co-production of missile defense systems (commitment to Israel noted in the text).
