Ask Paul Erlich and Julian Simon about how doomsday predictions in 1980 worked out.
https://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/paul-ehrlich-was-wrong-julian-simon-was-right-and-won-the-bet/
...[Erlich wanted to bet] “even money that England will not exist in the year 2000”...
...Somehow a man who has not only erred by the width and breadth of a couple of galaxies, but who has also advised governments to impose population growth limits and advocated “the addition of temporary sterilants to water supplies or staple food,” is yet considered an essential intellectual, so much so that he remains at Stanford and is still racking up prizes and awards...

The brain trust at Rolling Stone has spoken! But we don't know what (or whom) Wan Weiner might have had in his mouth when he spake!

Mark Twain mocked this sort of “long range” prediction. They are very mockable.

Well, looks like Rolling Stone is way behind on the news. Life on earth ended before the year 2000 due to overpopulation, The Population Bomb got us.

You could quite seriously look at climate change as a response of the system intended to get rid of an irritating species: us humans These God-hating enviro-whackos make my blood boil.
"Irritating species?" JESUS CHRIST said different. Through David, he said that He made the earth for mankind (Psalm 115:16). He said that what He made, including MANKIND, was "very good" (Genesis 1:31). The heaven is God's throne, and the earth is His footstool (Isaiah 66:1).
This sinful, boastful man, who is so full of hatred he apparently seeks to murder all of humankind to satisfy his climate fantasy, can be destroyed by one breath from the King of Kings.

Gee. A climate expert from Rolling Stone. I thought all those guys did was wax rhapsodic about crap music and esoteric noise goulash. And all this time they were meteorological whiz kids to boot!

Remember his original academic specialty is butterfly population dynamics. If people reacted to change like butterflies he might have a point! People don’t so he doesn’t!
