As I understand it, if you’re studying social work, education or any field like that you are required to take an oath for social justice and equal rights of all kinds. I heard this about 20 years ago when I was looking at getting a masters degree in vocational rehabilitation. Anyone ever hear of this?

Well, if it can be proven, all students who were denied on this basis should receive a nice sum of money. Enough to go a non liberal college 10 times over.
Seriously though; the education at liberal colleges isn’t worth a dime let alone hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. Liberal colleges are nothing more than indoctrination centers now.
Alternatives are out there. I hope they are utilized.

Clear, blatant violation of the students/applicants First Amendment Rights to free speech and to freely associate/assemble - especially if these institutions of lower learning/living are public (government) universities! Public schools/ universities must also respect the First Amendment just like any other government entity. The universities that pull this crap will lose in court if the student(s) sue!
Private universities may have more latitude when it comes to the First Amendment but I believe if they accept government funding that they must also honor the First Amendment Rights of their students. Not sure about that, though.
