The 17th Amendment has caused nothing but problems. Now Liberals are claiming that the Founding Fathers put in place a system of government that is against Democracy.
Exactly! We are a Constitutional Republic that protects the rights given to us by God against the Liberal/Socialist/Progressives ideal of Mob Rule in the guise of Democracy.
Mob rule does not disuse itself as democracy...democracy IS mob rule.
