Beat me to it. I was going to post “that’s bait, not food”.

"With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy)," the president [Obama] wrote.

I suppose those of us in wealthy countries who consume meat for protein must now be punished because we’re able to purchase the foods we want.
Otherwise, what’s wrong with eating meat for protein? Kefir is a good enough probiotic ... and a pill is available for those who don’t like the tart flavor.
I can’t help wondering if algore is involved in this. Because it feels like another Glow-bull Warming-type scam.
The investors in cricket farming will soon be explaining to the rest of us why they still eat steak and roast beef.
I say follow the money.

Bull$hit. I don’t accept most “studies.” I don’t accept propaganda. I don’t believe it when government tells me that “This is good for you.”
Like hell. Go to hell with your bugs.

If you ever saw a horse hair worm escape a dying cricket, you would stay clear of crickets, let alone eat one! I was 11 years old when I saw it, I’m 76 now and still can’t unsee it.

Do these worms hatch from inside the crickets? Like a miniature version of that scene in Alien.

Yes, they hatch from the anus of the cricket. They are about 3 inches long, hard to believe they could be in such a tiny insect’s intestine.
