From what I can tell from various snippets, Manafort’s lawyers are terrible. The judge is making their objections and arguments for them, and that is not good. I think there may be numerous legal arguments they should have made pretrial that they failed to make. Could be deep state tankers more concerned with their future in DC law circles.
Setting up an “incompetency of counsel” appeal?
Hey if Mueller can try to outlast the mid-terms, so can Manafort.
BTW, I’m still on-board with StevenW(?) regarding Manafort. Guilty on all counts.
Unless they’re intentionally setting up for an appeal based on incompetent counsel.
