New theory.

The reason that so many FReepers come onto the Q threads and behave like trolls (but maybe really aren’t trolls).

They are all panicked and miserable about Sessions, RR, and the whole rest of the situation. They are angry at us for being cool, calm, and collected. Instead of investigating what it is that gives us this sense of calm, they would rather just come over here and stir up trouble to try to make us panicked and miserable like they are.

I’m not kidding. Observe someone who is miserable for a while. What do they do? Some keep to themselves. Others try to drag everyone around them down with them.

So it may be less a matter of trolling, than of poor coping strategies for misery and frustration. I plan to use this theory next time we see a troll who looks like an otherwise legit FReeper.

(p.s. Does anyone else have trouble with autocorrect constantly changing FReeper to Freezer? Arrggghh.)
