I continue to believe that the TREND is the key thing to take away from; I believe the prior year’s analysis tally of average number of sealed indictments vs. sealed filings that are now being tracked is like apples and oranges. But look at this last month, for example - adding 5K new ones is so out of whack it’s like a sore thumb.
MEANWHILE I just reviewed the new Christopher Steel F-I docs just dumped to the vault. THEY ARE ALL REDACTED! All 71 PAGES! Page after page after page. The only thing that’s not is explanation up front that Steele was terminated for exposing his relationship to Yahoo News. And there sure seem to be a number of payment receipts. Everything else is blank.

Now the FBI can claim it disclosed the facts. This slow walking is beyond irksome. The FBI has something embarrasing to hide, is the only sensible conclusion. Maybe the "release" will trigger a public demand for real disclosure.
