I did look up the conditions of Manafort. He’s in a restricted area designed for high profile (political) prisoners. He was up in or near Maryland at a place where he was allowed to keep his phone and laptop, but the new place in Washington proper doesn’t allow any of that, but it doesn’t sound like he’s in “the hole”.
I've often wondered if he's not in some form of witness protection/protective custody.
Thank you for following up on Manafort’s condition. It is good to know that at least until there is a disposition of his case, he does not seem to be mistreated.
