Let's say I'm posting a link to a video.

In this case, a live performance of the song An Atmosphere of Miracles by the Prog-Celtic band Iona.

The web address of the link is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a7qyx30_6M

To make a hypertext link in an FR thread I put the following in my reply to another post:

<a href="web_address">My Title</a>

So

if the web address is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a7qyx30_6M

and the title I put in is Iona's An Atmosphere of Miracles Live

then the text I type in should be

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a7qyx30_6M">Iona's An Atmosphere of Miracles Live</a>

which appears, in the posting, as

Iona's An Atmosphere of Miracles Live

[No_Doll_i]

Ok thank Q. I will endeavor to my live links but it would be so much easier if there was a simple WYSIWYG desktop app that I could use to just highlight the thing and make it a live link.

SheesH I am really not this stupid, at least I didn’t used to be when I built a few websites.
