True. But overall, he is the least concerned with optics "politician" I've ever seen. And I love him for it.

Some concern with optics will always be necessary given the upside down, deep state created world we live in. But The Donald doesn't let his concern cripple him.

There is a difference between mere optics, which is basically akin to advertising and propaganda, and reasonable, common sense timing. It isn't mere "how it looks", but what will win the war. Planning battles isn't optics. And this is a war.
