Yeah, should clarify. Didn’t mean to imply that there is/was a direct relationship between Eclipse and Facebook. Only that both products are somehow both within the realm of the claims of McKibben’s patent(s). I don’t remember the specifics, going from memory from a year or so ago.

It’s possible that Facebook used Eclipse: it is a widely used development platform. However, this stuff is usually for software professionals. My opinion, which is not based on fact, is that a hacker like Zuckerberg would stay away from Eclipse, because it isn’t “cool”.
