Yes. It is well that you are wary of pit bulls. My premise here - and also that of Dogsbite.org - is that while all dogs bite, some dogs are bred to bite, maul, kill, and destroy - to the death and without signalling intent - and they are being foisted upon an unsuspecting public.

It is not the pit bull dog’s fault that it was bred for this purpose or reacts in this way, but they are much too dangerous, deadly, and destructive to be allowed as pets, much as are wild animals - they have had brain abnormalities bred into them for over one hundred years to act in the manner that they do, and it cannot be “bred out” because it is not an added item, but a subtracted one.

Actually, mollossoids have been bred since somewhere around 500 B.C.
