MELANIA Trump has praised the Queen for the "honour" of inviting them for tea at Windsor Castle.
The First Lady tweeted out photographs of Her Majesty beaming as she greeted her and the US President yesterday afternoon.
The pair flew in to the Queen's Berkshire residence yesterday evening, and were treated with the honour of a display from the Coldstream guards.
The couple greeted the smiling Queen outside before returning inside for tea.
Melania tweeted today: "It was an honor to meet and have tea with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. @POTUS and I enjoyed the visit and her company very much!"
The social media message was accompanied by four photographs of the visit, including snaps of them with the Queen and guards.
Melania looked every bit the glamorous First Lady as she met the Queen with husband Donald yesterday afternoon.
The Queen beamed as she greeted the US President and his wife.
President Trump and Melania then flew on to Scotland where they now are staying in Trump's Turnberry resort in Aryshire.
Today he is set to have a round of golf and prepare for his key meeting with President Putin on Monday.
Mr Trump said this morning: "I have arrived in Scotland and will be at Trump Turnberry for two days of meetings, calls and hopefully, some golf - my primary form of exercise!
"The weather is beautiful, and this place is incredible! Tomorrow I go to Helsinki for a Monday meeting with Vladimir Putin."

I think Trump ought to have Vladimir down to Mar-a-Lago for a bit of American hospitality.
Plus whatever the Queen would wear, Melania would blend. The Queen is notorious for favoring colors that stand out.

And re Trump and “fashion”: this is part of his personality. Back when I watched him on Celeb Apprentice, I used to marvel aloud about his fake orange tan and the big white raccoon eyes. His daughter is very fashion knowledgeable and I’m sure she told him to lay off that color and at the very least to have the makeup people blend his tan lines into his eye areas. AND YET HE NEVER DID. He must have liked the way he looked, and didn’t care how others felt. That is a strong guy.
Same with the hair. Ok, lots of men lose the front of their hair. Lots do things to counteract. But no one else takes a mat of hair from the back of the head and cotton candies it up into a tangerine-dyed pompadour 6” out front of their head. His family probably asked him to find something a little, well, SIMPLER, but no. Trump is comfortable with what he likes. It’s why he has the b*lls to actually get his agenda done against All Odds.
And you know way more about women’s fashion than I do. And I’m ok with that. I like pretty stuff but I’m more into pricy comfort stuff than Chanel. You do you, wd. Be fierce! ;)

It appears that she isn’t wearing her mega-carat diamond ring. Maybe it’s considered “too much” for this occasion.

Remember when she met some children in the White House at Christmas, wearing that beautiful white dress? One little girl said she believed Melania really was an angel. That was adorable.

I disagree with you about the too long ties and wrinkled suits. Suits get wrinkled when flying or driving and ties should be worn as is appropriate for the size of the man. President Trump is not a small man like the small men who make such obnoxious criticisms.
The Queen has a totally honest and warmheartedly GENUINE smile.
Where is Prince Phillip? And if he’s too infirm, why didn’t Charles, William, or even Harry, accompany her? Odd.
Yeah, I really believe that. The Lord sent Melania so we have a chance to save us from ourselves.

I would suppose that is from sitting so much. Its a very humid climate over there..being I have been over there many times I know. Gull Dang weather at 70 degrees over there feels like 90 over here in the midwest.
Are they playing the National Anthem in the second picture?
