Ummm
Nope.
Jonah Goldberg? The make-believe conservative?
Not going to make “Trixie” proud!
Margaret Sanger wasn't pro-choice. She demanded a moratorium on babies for a period of ten years, damn the consequences if some woman thought she wanted to have a baby. Abortion is about control. It isn't freedom or liberating.
They have a word for that: Bush family member.
Popular Republican journalist Jonah Goldberg angered his base Wednesday by claiming people can be conservative and support abortion.
No Jonah, they cant.
L
Is that similar to being a vocal, proud homosexual and claiming to be a Christian?? Guy B., that is you.....
What about late-term abortions? And how late is too late? What about 50 years or 60 years or no limit?
I dont support abortion. I just dont go against it. The unity of Republican Party is the most important to our country. I think illegal immigration and border security should be THE MOST IMPORTANT issue all the time
Okay, Jonah, let’s play your game.
You said... “Honestly, I think you can support abortion and still be a conservative. I just have a problem when youre stupid about it or use left wing arguments for it or both.”
So that would mean... “Honestly, I think you can support the Holocaust and still be a conservative. I just have a problem when youre stupid about it or use left wing arguments for it or both.”
Why preface it with the word honestly. Reminds me of when someone says To tell you the truth.... That usually means a lie is coming.
George Will agrees.
It’s true that conservatism is diverse and there are many issues on which we disagree among ourselves. But there are a few central principles that unite us as conservatives, and defending life and the defenseless is a central one.
Abortion, or “choice”, or “reproductive rights” = euthanasia. And once you can euthanize the young, you can euthanize the old. And the unacceptable. And the politically incorrect. This polarized, mindless, unreasonable, miseducated society is headed that direction.
A “pro-choice” conservative is a damned fool.
No, no you can’t.
You can eat chicken fried steak with gravy and still be a vegan.
No really...
I always thought it would be fun to run for office to use the “personally pro-life” horsecrap the pro-abort Dem pols use when running, but turn it on its head as such:
“I’m personally pro-abortion. Stab it, vacuum it out, hamburgerize it. It’s all good. But I’d NEVER force my views on the public and would have to vote pro-life.”
Stand back and watch the nutters heads explode.
Not in my book!
you can not force people to participate and be conservative.
