However, imho, it has a certain amount of fittingness to it IN THAT it shows a pattern of lying in his life. And, it serves to rattle his demeanor and maybe fracture his slick facade a bit. All to the good, imho. Besides, he didn’t seem to give a flip about propriety regarding any other folks on the other side.
Not disputing that he deserved that — and much more. I just don’t think it was appropriate. But looks like your opinion is more in line with most here. We will have to agree to disagree.
