I’m just trying to have a good day, in spite of what life brings. I’ve so often posted when things are serious, on occasion I just post for the heck of it to share goodwill.
I like you just because of your screen name. I’m not interested in who threw down their guitar. Your link made me watch some other rock videos that took me back in time 30 or more years. Happy times. For that, I thank you.
Mom just had heart surgery. Dad is knocking on death’s door with Parkinson’s and dementia. Brother is having diabetic complications. Wife of three decades might have stomach cancer (waiting on that diagnosis). I’m fighting with the VA on whether my bone spurs are ‘service related’ after 25 years walking in the infantry.
All the while, I remind myself to be thankful for the blessings that God has delivered.
I don’t come to Free Republic spoiling for a fight. I come here for the camaraderie and fellowship.
Just teasing about your 1” group moniker. If you find yourself in the Colorado territory, I’d be happy to buy you a cup of Joe and put us on some prairie dogs!
