Yep, need to work on that, thanks.
Copied and pre formatted as per the article. Paragraphs worked but line breaks for some reason did not. Guess I have to add the html manually for that?
What intermediate do you use? Notepad?
Not sure. I usually wont even try to read when posted like that. Im on an iPod 6s.
The content, however, was such that did read it. I wasnt aware that Kushner was the campaign mgr.
If you keep using the <pre> method, you could enter shorter lines (no further html code needed), but picking the right number of characters per line is problematic, because people have browsers set at all manner of width.
If you want the readers' browser to set the width, you are better off just abandoning the <pre> method, and inserting <p> at the end of each paragraph.
Yep.
If you put in any html, like a link reference, then all your text is assumed to be html and you have to add paragraphing.
Paragraphing is maintained if you use pre. BUT it does keep the text as it was. Usually the only reason you see nicely wrapped text on some article is because your browser is nicely wrapping the VERY long lines.
Use pre and you get to SEE those very long lines.
So pre and add line breaks? Or let your post assume html and add paragraphs.
I usually add paragraphs as it means fewer keystrokes.
Deep sympathy. Both ways are a pain.
