It's right out front of their building. Weird huh? But the most weird part for me was the decodes and the coincidental references to things "Q" (misspellings are important, q references, coordinates, magnetic fields, Egyptian tomb-stone, WW, darkness to light etc.,)part 1. Between subtle shading and the absence of light lies the nuance of iqlusion and part 3. "Slowly, desparatly slowly, the remains of passage debris that encumbered the lower part of the doorway was removed. With trembling hands I made a tiny breach...And then, widening the hole a little, I inserted the candle and peered in. The hot air escaping from the chamber caused the flame to flicker, but presently details of the room within emerged from the mist. x Can you see anything? q" (Howard Carter's account of finding King Tut's tomb.) Comments and thoughts from thread freeqs are welcome. This rabbit hole has been making this cat's brain itch.WOW! Wish I was not getting ready to go to work. I will have to jump in this hole later.
A puzzle. Yummy. I’m in.
Easiest crumbs first:
In the first solved passage, “illusion” is misspelled as “iqlusion”.
The 38.9518N x 77.1455W in the second solved passage points at the CIA Building just a bit to the South of the West Main Entrance (I’m open to correction on this...don’t have a building plan) and the “Level 2” would indicate second floor, except that’s not congruent with “it’s buried out there..”.
The third solved passage, besides differing from the descriptions in Carter’s Diary (I’m guessing it to be a dramatized rewrite for publication) has another “q” at the end of the quote.
Two letter “q” and something buried in the CIA building...
I’ll start looking at the tablets a bit more after I get some chores done.
BBL
I knew about this, but didn’t know - or forgot - about the Q reference.
IIRC, there is one puzzle left to be solved.
