I am sorry, but I have no guilt. Zero Nada. My father and his generation were fighting to liberate EVERYONE including JEWS from the NAZIS.
We have taken many refugees in then and going forward including JEWS as well as people who are likely sleeper enemies. USA owes NO APOLOGY to anyone. We have provided military protection for the whole darn world since WWII, and what the other countries provide is a drop in the bucket.
Give me a break. What we should be doing is the same thing we did when Ellis Island was operational. JMHO.

I don’t think we really disagree greeneyes. I’m not asking anyone - even the US to be or feel guilty. I acknowledged we needed to do balls to the wall expediency. We did the very best we knew how to do as a people.
My father and several other family members were fighting alongside your own father. Winning was a near thing.... then the victory was betrayed at Yalta.
I am in favor of screening our borders, then and now. I’m just aware NOW that there were people making hard hearted POLICY decisions that perhaps could have been made differently - at least in some instances.
When I learned a long time ago about the truth of people being turned away who were returned to the gas showers, I wept. How could I not?
We WERE lied to. There are cases made that I’ve learned about since the Q researches, that the whole WWI and WWII bloodletting was indeed a manipulation to depopulate and steal the worldwide people’s treasure, and to place them - and us today - into slavery. The Georgia Guidestones are evidence of the intent that those evil people have toward all of us.
I really agree that America and the American people are generous and do not have anything to apologize for. But that does not mean that decisions have been made in our behalf that are not full of pain once they are understood.

Harry Hopkins, described as FDR’s co-president, worked for Stalin. He was so powerful the official Cabinet had almost nothing to do with policy. Hopkins has also been described as FDR’s Svengali.
At Yalta, FDR had 3 Soviet Commies as his “Team”—Harry Hopkins, Harry Dexter White and Alger Hiss.
It is beyond imagination the Treason of this crowd, especially Hopkins. The book in my tagline explains how in 1943, under “Lend-Lease” he sent Stalin not only the plans for the Atomic Bomb, but also supplies of Uranium, heavy water, aluminum tubes etc.
