When one goes to sleep in a Blue Pill world (pre-Trump) and awakes in a Red Pill world (post-Trump) it can be disorienting. Even good republicans are having a very hard time realizing they were Blue Pilled members of the DS Uniparty.
Not just having to check one’s premises for a personal worldview, but realizing one’s whole life has been lived upon a lie.........

What makes all the difference in the world is if a person thirsts after Truth more than anything else. If a person thirsts more after being “right” - iow, they want to be a know-it-all - if someone is more invested in “I know and you don’t” than they are in knowing the Truth, then they will not see Truth no matter how plain and clear it is.
One has to be willing to jettison fondly held beliefs and positions if proven wrong, and be willing to admit that “Wow, I was wrong”.
It’s a much better way to live. The only way to really live. It’s a great freedom.
I find that it helps to red pill liberals when I tell them that plenty of Republicans are members of the DS, that I’m not just attacking 0vomit or HRC or the people in their party. Admitting I was wrong about no name or W or GHWB and acknowledging how difficult it was to have my perception of the world shattered helps them to at least be open-minded to what I say.
