Rep. Maxine Waters Saturday addressed the cancellation of speaking engagements in Texas and Alabama after receiving several death threats, including one of lynching, for speaking out against President Donald Trump's immigration policies that have resulted in the separation of families at the border.
"We didn't have all of our security in order and organized for those two trips, but we've got it together now," she said on Los Angeles radio station KPFK-FM.
"We're going on with our schedule, and we're going to keep talking about this president and his policies, and we're going to keep fighting for these children and their parents and these families."
Waters, D-Calif., a frequent critic of the Trump administration, said she's received a number of threats since her controversial rallying cry this month that members of the Trump administration should be repeatedly confronted in their everyday lives - a message that she said has since been distorted...more..

Flood her district and her DC offices with opposition political campaigning every time she leaves her district.
Since she doesn’t want her job, encourage her voting base to remember how she isn’t performing for them and instead wants to represent people other than her district and vacates her duties in DC.
Of course if she goes to Austin they'll call out their KKK on her. Kooks, shiesKoffs and Kleptoes.
Would love to see a few ‘forensic experts’ fine tooth comb the ‘threats’ she received AND - if true - prosecute to the hilt.
However, should one prosecute a ‘threatener’ shouldn’t she be held liable for the ‘inflammable’ remarks she has been mouthing while using her MOC bully pulpit?
I would think EVEN CONGRESSTYPES should have a code of ethics to follow.
(WOW...I worked ethics & Congresstype into one sentence)
Gee what makes me think of the movie The Interpreter? Fake assassination attempt to get sympathy coming.
“I wouldnt be surprised if her threats were actually coming from the left.”
Could be, except of course the reported threat of a “lynching”. I’m sure that one came from a real authentic MAGA hat wearing die-hard Trump supporter. /s
If this were true (and I don’t think it is), it’s most likely to have been made by a Democrat who realizes the damage she’s doing the her party.
I heard a quick blurb on radio that SHE will be in Dallas at a mega chrch somewhere.
Abolish Liberals and America’s problems would be solved.
I wouldn't be surprised if the left actually carried out a hit on Max as it would consolidate the African American (BLM) base, play into the anti 2nd amendment lie, and get her loony rants off the airwaves.
Conservatives should be providing security at her events!
Drive another hundred thousand our way every time you open that psychotic hole in your face !
Death Threats my ass . . . who would risk jail time by trying to attack this total fool? She’s got rocks in her head and under her wig.
Mad Marxist Waters threatened to visit Texas and now is following through on her threat.
>>Death threats says who?
Probably the same remote team that told the FBI that the “Russians hacked the DNC server” without actually looking at it.
oh look!!! A Squirrel!!!
Hopefully the DS doesn’t decide she’s expendable
If there were credible threats, it would seem the
FBI would be involved.
The lynching thing could be just another rat dog whistle.
It will be interesting to see how all this plays out.
#1 - KPFK is a radical leftist radio station *(PBS NPR)
#2 - Mad Max is mentally unstable & a Psycho
#3 - laws prohibit crossing state lines to instigate riots
#4 - last organized meeting she appeared 8 people showed up.
“... shes just trying to make herself look like a victim after she called for violence herself.”
And now, knowing the death threats weren’t real, she can impress with her bravery. Someone is handling her much better lately.
So they don’t want her there either and she threatened them to let her speak? Sounds more reasonable that way.
rwood
She’s a rep from California. Why is she speaking in other states?
