Sing to me, Autumn, with the rustle of your leaves. Breathe on me your spicy scents that flow within your breeze. Dance with me, Autumn, your waltz that bends the boughs of trees.
Happy Thankful Thursday! |

Autumn
Astronomically Speaking, Autumn is the season between summer and winter; fall. In the Northern Hemisphere it is from the September equinox to the December solstice; in the Southern Hemisphere it is from the March equinox to the June solstice.
During this period, deciduous trees in the temperate regions experience a change of color in their leaves, which eventually die and fall off. It the the harbinger of winter.
Autumn can also mean a time of full maturity, especially the late stages of full maturity or, sometimes, the early stages of decline: as "to be in the autumn of one's life."
It's particularly nice for dogs, who derive extreme pleasure for the process of rolling in the accumulated dead leaves
