Riddle me this about encroaching darkness.
In this video...Sunrise, Sunset...when you slow the speed down to 0.25...you see that the light from the sun doesn't spring up across the whole of the horizon, instead it spreads from a localized point and then expands across the horizon.
Whether sunrise or sunset the light doesn't flash across the whole of the horizon, the encroaching darkness is always visible.
Even at regular speed, the 8:36 mark has an excellent example of this.
How is that possible on a spinning, spherical Earth?
