Drat. I hate laying a dud. Here it is again, but I'm afraid it loses it's cache out of context and time. Oh, well. It's kinda cool in it'w own right. These are the Dead End kids I was worried about.

Six nickels and two slugs....

Speaking of duds they just released the documents recovered from Cohen’s shredder. It’s a big nothing bacon cheeseburger.

LMAO!

Thanks for the re- linkage!

I did a quick little dipsydoo into the Dead End Kids from “Angels with Dirty Faces.”

Baggie, here is a little low lying fruit about the “Dead End Kids.” Some definitely led colorful lives. Some abused drugs and alcohol - which could cause speculation, and possible cause for further digging if one felt so motivated. But I did not see anything particularly indicative of the sexual abuse which we fear kids in Hollywood were and are subjected to, but I did not dig deep.

Punsly escaped Hollywood and became a doctor - never having had any acting ambition. Downing and Morris died early. Burke’s mini biographer notes that he had a 20 year “whereabouts unknown” period. Knowlden is still with us, and wrote her own bio clip.

There was a strange connection I saw when I read the bio of Huntz Hall:

***HOLD ON TO YOUR HAT HERE, BAGGIE! REMEMBER BEING RELUCTANT TO OBSERVE MY BEATLES’ ST. PEPPERS ALBUM COVER BUNNY HOLE? FEAST YOUR EYEBALLS ON THIS:

“He is pictured on the cover of The Beatles’ 1967 album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” (2 to the left of Bob Dylan).”***
