I have weaned myself off Atlanta WSB radio on the way to work but tuned in this morning to check for signs of The Mockingbird. Generally, WSB is one big-wattage talking point parrot.
I heard nothing along those lines from 6:40A to 7:05A. Just some yammering about Trump’s potential SC picks and tariff spit-balling.
That may change over the course of the morning.

I wonder if Team Q is sending out the 4 a.m. Mockingbird points now. POTUS seems great at, as LS has said often, putting cheese in the maze and the we watch the DSM chase their collective tails.
So could this Cohen stuff (and perhaps other stuff) be deliberate misinformation? To keep the media busy? Or to point them in particular directions? Or to trap them?
Dunno, but perhaps future will prove past.

I was lucky enough to see Stevie Ray in between Robert Cray opening and Eric Clapton as the closing act.
He died later on that tour.
Strangely connected by mode of demise, we still know who Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper are.
And like JFK can remember exactly where I was when I learned of their demise.

My responsibility at that time was to approve the filing of FISA Applications because only three people in the Department were authorized to be the final sign-off…we sit down with a team of attorneys from the Department of Justice all of whom review that and provide a briefing for us about what’s in it.
I’ve reviewed that one in some detail and I can tell you that the information that’s public about that doesn’t match with my understanding of the one that I signed. I think it’s appropriate to let the Inspector General complete that investigation. These are serious allegations. I don’t do the investigations. I’m not the affiant. I’m reviewing the finished product. If the Inspector General finds I did something wrong, I’ll respect that judgment. But I think it’s highly, highly unlikely.
