I really don’t think people understand just how *many* there are. Maybe because most of us go years in between "sightings" of pit bulls in our area. I have a friend who has two. I literally know nobody else who has one and I never see one out. This is in a very densely populated region - Philly metropolitan area - with lots of pets.

They are literally *everywhere* here and I don’t live in anything remotely like “the hood”.

Very rural, Appalachia wilderness, more like.
