Let me extrapolate.
I have a funny feeling that EVERYBODY could describe themselves, during their formative yeqrs, as a "social misfit" if we were to get right down to it. The jocks and the cheerleaders and those looked upon by "others" as the "norm" are merely that. Defined by others as the "norm" (in a social sense.)
Despite that being the case,throughout history, the "norm" has evolved to mean behavior(to include physical, mental, and socialization ability) that is most likely to ensure success in life. Normal was strived for, admired, and expected.
Anything outside the norm was shunned (in various ways), for lack of a better word. In this way, civilization advanced. Those who conformed to society's norms, or mores, succeeded and went on to help build civilization.
What the Soviets have done, and this is documented, is to attempt to redefine normalcy. Every aspect of a perfectly good and evolving civilization is under assault. A society Western civilization) that has resulted in the best, most free society in the history of human-kind, America is under assault as we see normalcy being redefined.
Think divorce rates, family structure, education, gay marriage, drug use, "body shaming" as a concept, and Justin Bieber, amongst many horrible and destructive things.
Once the assault on our culture was complete (and it only took 30-40 years), and the family, education, and media systems were subverted, a tipping point of indoctrination occurred. The striving for "normalcy" through social pressure was abandoned. All manner of behaviors and "life-style choices" became acceptable, even celebrated.
And that's why Antifa wears masks. They are ashamed of their wimpy beta male or bull dagget visages and don't want the world to see that they represent an uprising of the Island of Dr. Moreau.
So yes, Meyer and Wneighbor. You may have considered yourselves "social misfits" in high school, but I put it to you that you were not. I have a feeling that, whatever you or others thought of you during your formative years, you allowed society to mold you into decent members of civilization and you "became" normal. That's how it's supposed to work.
