Always loved the theme song and opening sequence. One of my favorites.
Me too, opening song. Liked especially the part when girls were running on the beach in bikinis and the drums kicked in. Bounce was in time with the beat.
I loved playing the trumpet when our band did the 5-0 theme, and loved playing the flute for The Pink Panther (yes, very small band, lol!)
5-O theme song was by The Ventures. Best selling instrumental band of all time. Never got the deal Kam Fong as Chin Ho or Zulu as Kono. There was a stand up comic eons ago that did a short blurb with “Kam Fong as Chin Ho. What’s the difference?” Then he would cap the bit with the Asian perception: “Jack Lord as Steve McGarret. What’s the difference?”
